University students, who were placed in social housing in Mamak Arabs while solving their housing problems, expressed their satisfaction with the following words:

-Fatih Yilmaz: “I have been staying here for about 4.5 months. The conditions are really good. Either way, if we tried to stay in private dormitories or somewhere else like that, it would cost around 3,000 lire. Everything here is free and of very high quality. Whether it is the food, the apartments in which we are staying, everything is very good. We have no problem. Without this place, I probably couldn’t come to Ankara, I couldn’t go to university. I want to thank everyone, especially our Metropolitan Mayor Mansur YavaÅŸ, who made this possible. As students, we expect him to be here as soon as possible.

-Merve Karabulut: “The opportunities that are presented to us are truly a blessing. I am very happy with the house. It is very clean, we have already arrived in brand new buildings. Breakfast and meals are also free. The gym and baglama class at the Arablar Family and Life Center are also free. It is as if everything is planned for us. We are very happy. I also attended concerts organized by the Metropolitan Municipality. There too, I felt our privilege.

-Umran Gozay: “When we first arrived here we were all helpless and had nowhere to stay. I was very happy after seeing the possibilities when we came. We have both a place to stay and an environment where we can study. There are also study rooms in the Family Life Center. The students here study in different schools. I study in EsenboÄŸa. My school is far from here. Despite this, morning and evening services are organized. The opportunities here are always tried to be improved as much as possible. My family was able to leave me here without any control. “

-Edanur Kilin: “I came to Ankara from Diyarbakir. Living conditions are good here. At least we have a place to stay as we had quite a few issues when we arrived. We wondered where we were going to stay, what we would do. Thanks to Mansur, our president has fixed this place and we are staying here. We always have hot water. If we raise a problem, the officers come in and deal with it right away. When we have a problem or something is broken, they come and fix it immediately. We use the Internet very efficiently. We all have our own quota. Our quota is renewed every week. We participate in cultural and artistic activities organized by the Metropolitan Municipality of Ankara. Everything is beautiful here. If this dormitory had not been provided, I would have spent my final in a hotel style place before going to my classes and returning there because I have no accommodation, we do not have the possibility of ” fit out a house.

-Firat Deringoz: “I have been here for almost 3 months. The meals are delicious. Whenever we have a problem, it is resolved immediately. We are currently 2 people staying in the room. The bedroom is very comfortable and spacious. We can easily wash our clothes in the laundry room. We offer 24 hour security service. They come to our aid both for the reception of our cargo and for all our needs. Thanks to everyone who contributed to all the services.

-Duran Can Karkan: “It’s nicer, cleaner, and the food is better than dorms across the state. Our rooms are cleaned regularly. Hot water and heating conditions are very good. I don’t even turn on that much natural gas in my own house. Since the internet is fast and our quotas are high, we can use the internet efficiently. I can get to my school with the free shuttle from the ring road. If I didn’t have the option of staying here, I would probably freeze the university.

-Irem Yildirim: “I am a 3rd year student at Yıldırım Beyazıt University. Before our school dormitory opened, we stayed at the hotel in Kızılay. I have been staying in Arab residences since October 20. Although I don’t have a computer, I can do very well with my online lessons with computers here. At the security point, they take care of all our problems, thanks to them 7/24. Our rooms are very warm. We have hot water 7/24 without interruption. Without this place I would freeze the university because the private dorms are too expensive. On behalf of all my friends, I would first like to thank our President, Mansur YavaÅŸ, and all the staff who work here, for the opportunities they have given us here.

-Mustafa Oktay: “I have been here for 6 months. I find the opportunities offered to us very enjoyable. A real family atmosphere is presented here. We have never been strangers. I would like to express my sincere thanks to President Mansur, his team and the people who work here.

-Åžeyma Oter: “I am a student at Ankara University. I am from Sakarya. I was at a friend’s house. Frankly, I was very surprised to see the opportunities available to us here. I didn’t expect the procedures to be so easy without making the student difficult. I was surprised that the food was free, the laundry service was free, our room was hot, and so much more. I didn’t expect so much. I am very happy satisfied. I went to a concert here, it was very nice. In the Family Life Center, students also have the opportunity to spend active time, such as table tennis and chess, which we use with our friends.
