The Edison and Ford Winter estates in Fort Myers will be holding their annual Fall Garden Festival on November 20 and 21 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

More than 40 garden vendors across the state will have tropical and native plants and trees for sale. The festival takes place outdoors, under tall shade trees, and also features food trucks and live music.

Vendors will have many types of plants and trees including palms, fruit trees, bromeliads, hibiscus, butterfly plants, African violets, orchids, air plants, herbs, succulents , cacti and hard-to-find species. They will also donate garden supplies, such as fertilizer and worm casts.

The Edison Garden Shoppe will be open and will be home to unusual tropical and native Florida plants. Ceramic flower pots, vegetable and flower seeds, garden art, and gardening gift items will also be available.

Members receive a discount on Garden Shoppe purchases; guests can purchase a membership to the event. Members also enjoy free and unlimited general admission throughout the year, as well as free admission to other museums and gardens across the country through the reciprocity program.

As per CDC guidelines, masks are recommended for participants.

A limited number of garden carts will be available, so participants are encouraged to bring a cart or cart for transporting plants. A designated plant storage tent and loading location will be provided.

Parking and entry to the festival are free
