The Gate One consultancy has expanded to Ireland and the United States. The company is now present in four countries, including France and the United Kingdom, where it is headquartered.

After the climax of Brexit, 40% of mid-sized businesses in the UK suggested that one of their main challenges in 2021 was launching a new international office. As the consulting firm sought to meet the needs of clients inside and outside the EU, Gate One became the latest company to expand beyond Britain this year.

Earlier in 2021, Gate One crossed the Channel to continental Europe, with the announcement of the launch of a new hub in France. The expansion of its geographic reach was Gate One’s first outside the UK in its eight-year history. A few months later, however, the Pancras Square-based consulting firm expanded its service offering to two new international markets.

The company has extended its geographic footprint to Ireland and the United States, thereby expanding its international footprint to four different countries. Laurent Fauroux will become Country Manager for the US wing, while Anthony Gaffney will lead Gate One in Ireland, and they will now work to establish independent customer relationships, as well as working closely with the Hava villages in their regions to provide a complementary portfolio of services for Havas customers.

Tim Phillips, Managing Partner of Gate One, said: “We are delighted to announce the latest chapter in Gate One’s extraordinary growth. Our distinctive approach to consulting combined with the experience and know-how of consultants with a deep understanding of their respective markets means greater choice and opportunities for organizations looking for a compelling alternative to traditional consulting services on national and international missions.

Gate One joined the Havas group in 2019, combining its transformation expertise with Havas’ know-how in strategic marketing, creation and communication, to provide integrated digital transformation, marketing and business services to its clients. According to Phillips, Havas’ international reach – and its ability to help Gate One enter new markets – was a key factor in the transaction.

“With 316 offices in 75 countries… their established presence in the countries we have chosen gives us a solid platform for growth and, in the case of France and Ireland, allows us continuous access to Europe. mainland after Brexit, “he explained.

So far, teams from the United States and Ireland have entered the race. According to a statement from Gate One, the company is already providing business transformation services to organizations across various industries in both geographies.

Recruitment Dublin

With the official launch of Gate One’s office in Dublin at the end of September, the consulting firm anticipates rapid growth in Ireland. Approximately 50 hires are expected over the next five years, and recruitment is already underway for experienced management consultants and seasoned industry specialists.

Gaffney, Country Manager, said: “As a key economic and digital hub, Ireland is a natural fit for our international expansion and, as part of the Havas Group, we believe in offering our clients an advisory proposition. digital and differentiated business. The recent change in operating environments for consulting firms, brought on by Covid-19, allows Gate One to grow nationwide, as well as serving global clients from Ireland. We are now actively recruiting entrepreneurial consultants who could return to Ireland from overseas or seek to change the norm in Ireland.

Supported by the Irish Government through IDA Ireland, Gate One’s target industries for Ireland include the well-established group of indigenous and global companies in Life Sciences, Retail, Consumer Goods, financial services and the public sector. This fuels the Irish government’s current drive to boost employment across the country.

Tánaiste and Enterprise, Trade and Employment Minister Leo Varadkar said: “The government is working tirelessly to create jobs and growth in Ireland. The launch of this exciting new consulting firm in Ireland, with a differentiated offering, testifies to the resilience of the Irish economy, the strength of our talent pool and the attractiveness of the business environment. I personally welcome Gate One and look forward to witnessing their expansion in the months and years to come.
