I want people to come together to celebrate the accomplishments we have made, but also to discuss what the future holds, especially for local access to our outdoors.

Matt Mason, co-founder of the Monumental Loop, added: “Since our advocacy began several years ago, it is amazing how well the state and local leaders have responded to our vision of the Monumental. Loop and intersectionality of how lives can be transformed just as much as the economy. Next month’s summit is an exciting opportunity to highlight these efforts, as well as to solidify what many of us have always known – that access to the outdoors should be for all of us. We just have to make the investments to make it so.

Visit Las Cruces is delighted to support this event, said Hilary Dutcher, Outdoor Leisure Sales Manager for Visit Las Cruces.

“Packing bikes has become increasingly popular and is an adventurous way to explore the less traveled parts of the public lands around us,” said Dutcher. “Raising awareness of this trend and the opportunities it presents in Las Cruces is great for visitors and locals alike.
